We are seeking a highly motivated and freight broker-experienced professional to join our Logistics SaaS technology company. The Junior Sales Executive will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing prospects into live demo meetings for software solutions to logistics companies. The ideal candidate will have worked inside a freight brokerage and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong sales background, well organized, and a proven track record of exceeding targets. This role will transition into a Sales Executive role within the first year based on success rate.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify and deeply understand prospective customers
  • Pursue and engage prospects to have them attend Demo Meetings with Founders
  • Eventually conduct product demos for potential and existing customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the Company's CRM system (HubSpot)
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales presentations, proposals, and marketing collateral
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to develop effective sales strategies

 

Our ideal candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 or more years of experience at a freight brokerage either on the sales or buying side
  • Experience with B2B sales, preferably in the logistics or technology industry
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools (preferably HubSpot)
  • Willingness for occasional travel as needed
  • Bachelor's Degree

 

Pluses:

●    Well-rounded comprehension of Enterprise or SaaS sales

●    Transportation Management System (TMS) or logistics technology background

●    Startup experience solving dynamic challenges

●    Proficient with HubSpot CRM

Compensation:

●    $50k Base Salary + Commission & Bonus
